Bridgend Cottage - Escaping to Happiness

Bridgend Cottage is a quirky Welsh cottage perched on the river Leri, it is built into a beautiful humpback bridge. Dol Y Bont is a small hamlet in a farming community. The cottage is the perfect romantic rural getaway. You can lie in bed and listen to the river running below the window. Outside the garden is on the riverbank or there is a balcony over the river. Our lovely old cottage retains many original features including low beamed ceilings. Sadly we are unable to accept guests under 12.

Charming Seaside Cottage Apartment: Ground Floor

This traditional stone building sits in the quiet seaside village of Borth, just 7 miles from Aberystwyth and a minute away from the long sandy beach. At this time of year the village is calm and peaceful, with space to enjoy the sea air and the slower pace of the off-season. Welcoming pubs, handy takeaways & local stores still open. The wide beach is perfect for a bracing walk, and there are excellent coastal and hill paths close by for anyone who loves exploring the outdoors at the weekend.

Off Grid Cabin Dyfi Forest Snowdonia amazing views

Hidden deep within the Dyfi Forest on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park is our unique, off grid cabin. With amazing views over the valley, you can just sit back and enjoy the natural world around you. If mountain biking is your thing, we are right on the Climachx Mountain Bike Trails and a stones throw from Dyfi Bike Park. There's lush river swimming spots, lakes, waterfalls and mountains to explore. Our nearest beach is Aberdyfi, just 30mins away. 16mins drive to the epic Cadair Idris!

Great for walking, cycling, horse riding, wild swimming. 20min drive to Aberystwyth for castle, pier, beaches, bars, excellent restaurants, Museum and Arts Centre.

Whatever time of year you choose to stay you'll fall in love with the fabulous scenery of the Ceredigion coastline and views of Snowdonia beyond.

A beautiful stone cottage with a touch of quirky charm. 0pen plan and spacious, it's a truly restful retreat, yet within easy reach of the sublime Ceredigion coast, and pet friendly too ( please see pet fee). This is a place to relax, away from it all, enjoy the local scenery, sample locally produced and sourced foods, wine and beers.

There is a wide screen HD tv with DVD player, dvd's, books and games. Patio doors open from the living room onto a small patio area with garden furniture.

This delightful shepherd's hut situated on our smallholding in West Wales (lovingly built using low impact and reclaimed materials), offers a fantastic base to explore the nearby beaches, mountains and other attractions. The thoughtfully furnished interior includes a super comfy double bed, simple kitchen and cosy woodburner. Outside is a large decking area, your own unique walk in spiral shower and a separate compost loo.
