This 1850s 4 bedroom cottage comfortably accommodates 6 and option for 8 with 2 large double bedrooms (1 ensuite), 1 very small bedroom with a double bed (cosy for 2 or fine for 1) and 1 small single bedroom. The small bedroom is partitioned slightly as it contains tumble dryer, vacuum and some personal items in a chest of drawers. The main bathroom has a shower & bath. The cottage has 20ft living and dining rooms and well equipped kitchen. Everything is in place for a comfortable stay.

This leaves the whole of the top floor as a light, airy bedroom with a kingsize bed. Huge Velux windows frame the view over the hill and field behind. Parking outside for 1 car (more if needed). Godminster Manor Cottage

Set in a private cobbled courtyard on an organic farm, half a mile from Bruton, this old stone cottage has been lovingly restored. It has an inglenook fireplace, oak-framed roofs, flagstone and elm floors, with art and furniture collected over many years filling the rooms. Bruton is renowned for its restaurants and art galleries. The 'Newt in Somerset' is next door and there many other wonderful nearby destinations and beautiful walks from the farm within the surrounding countryside.

The Pigsty

The Pigsty is a modern, comfortable barn conversion situated in an area that used to be part of the farmyard, opposite our farmhouse cottage and a pretty mill with a view of the village on the hillside where the sun sets. Little gated courtyard with table and chairs to enjoy that view. Walking distance to the village shop and local pub for drinks. Great footpaths to explore the countryside, you need a car to make the most of your stay. Maximum of two guests Check in from 4pm
