We were looking for a last minute booking on a home close to Boone and came upon this listing. The place was spotless clean and had everything that you may need for a short stay. The instructions and the check in and out process was super easy. My teens loved the giant tv screens and the pool table and we loved the view and the privacy. We would love to stay again but this time in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the porches and the views more.

Had all the amenities of home. Well taken care of and comfortable space. Lots of nice touches. Very well stocked house and high quality items! We very much enjoyed our stay and would book again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend, and weekend wasn't long enough to enjoy the beautiful nature and views this place offered. The home was very clean and felt very safe. The kitchen was very well-stocked with everything needed to cook meals and clean up. We already plan on staying here again!

Logan’s place was PERFECT for our weekend friend getaway. Everything about how to get in, get set up, and checkout was communicated clearly and well. The home accommodated our diverse group (single friends, married friends, our friends with a 2yo child) so well with all the different styles of rooms and the two distinct living spaces available. I never know what to expect in an AirBnB kitchen when we are planning to cook meals at home, so I always bring some things from home. But they really weren’t needed. Probably the best stocked kitchen of anywhere I’ve stayed. The home was immaculate. The outdoor spaces were beautiful. We enjoyed swinging down by the river and enjoyed a cookout on the deck. Seating for everyone, and so comfortable. Truly a great experience from beginning to end!

It’s a conveniently located, beautifully renovated property, perfect for one or two couples or a family. The layout and furnishings inside and out encourage togetherness. We felt very comfortable. The mattresses were a little soft for our liking, but that’s just a personal preference. Travel-size toiletries in the bath would have been a plus. There were more than enough linens in the kitchen and bathroom. Washing machine and dishwasher detergent pods are appreciated. I liked that Cassondra doesn’t toss barely used condiments and seasonings from the kitchen. It’s so much less wasteful and cost-saving.

Beautiful home and amazing host definitely will be staying with them again! Highly recommended if you want some peace and quiet!!

Great spot for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. Owners are great at communication and easily accessible. We can't wait to stay again!

Our stay was amazing it’s close to town but private at the same time. We had a surprise visit with some deer it was snowing and beautiful!!! Definitely recommend, we would love to stay there again :)

Jim & Sue’s place is a nice, cozy, quiet retreat. They are very friendly and kind. We had a great time. The views are breathtaking! The hot tub after a long day of hiking is a must. We had a bit of trouble trying to connect to the wi-fi, but it turned out to be a good detox from technology. Overall, we had a wonderful experience staying at their place. I recommend it!

This bottom floor apartment was in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that was close to all the West Jefferson places we like to visit. It was clean and organized. I loved the little “extra thoughtful amenities” that were available if you forgot things from home. My favorite part was sitting on the porch drinking coffee relaxing while two hummingbirds hovered for a minute.

This was perfect for us and our dogs while staying in the area for a wedding. The view is absolutely amazing and the apartment was cozy. Morgan really pays attention to detail and all of the usual things that may be forgotten while packing, she had in the airbnb available. I was pleasantly surprised! One thing to note is that the apartment is located below their family’s home, and it can be loud at times as you can hear every footstep/movement upstairs, however, it didn’t really bother us in particular as we live in a duplex and are used to it. It did not keep us up or interfere with our experience. We really felt at home here and would definitely return. Thank you, Morgan!

Kathy and Jim were superb host who made us feel at home!! Kathy stayed in touch with us throughout the stay and made sure we had everything we needed. She also let us know about places to eat and visit. They were GREAT, even offered to drop us off and pick us up from the Wedding Venue we attended because I was a little nervous to drive on snow and ice. Everything was neat and very clean with your everyday items a person needs when you stay away from home. (Kitchen and Coffee Bar were fully stocked). We would highly recommend this venue and the host. Perfect place to stay in JEFFERSON, NC.

Cozy! From the first step in the door, we felt at home. Wayne is a fantastic host. Great communicator, before our trip, during and after we left. He was right on and wanted to make sure we had what we needed, and wanted. The location was perfect for us. The New River was close by for fishing. APP STATE was an easy drive so we could get to the football game. And a favorite location, West Jefferson, was not too far away.

Andi’s place was exactly what we needed. We were driving from NY to FL and needed somewhere to sleep with 3 dogs. Our request to book was very last minute and she responded almost immediately with instructions on getting there and getting inside. Inside was spacious for being a studio. Also, the mattress is FABULOUS!! If we’re ever in the area again, this is where I’m looking first!

Staying at Hummingbird was a great experience. It felt very charming, homey and spacious. The host was also very responsive to inquiries and offered assistance when needed. There is a manual with helpful guidelines and rules, which added clarity during the stay- though the rule about only eating in designated areas felt a bit restrictive at time. Aside from that, this was all round pleasant stay.
