Perfect spot for my birthday getaway 🥰 We had 8 in our group and the place was the perfect size. We ate lots of great food around the neighborhood and was able to support local businesses. Great distance to Disney, the mall, the beach and many other great spots. Highly recommend dipping in the jacuzzi after a long day at Disney, it was perfect! Looking forward to staying at John’s place again the next time we visit.

Gal was an amazing host! House was clean and felt cozy. We had no problems and would gladly stay at Gal’s place for our LA travels! Lots of good eats in the surrounding locations

Nestled right next to his breathtaking castle, this home is a true masterpiece—combining elegance, comfort, and a sense of grandeur that is simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and generosity, a reflection of James himself—an incredible soul whose kindness and hospitality made our experience even more special. Every detail in the home is thoughtfully curated, from the exquisite decor to the impeccable cleanliness and comfort. The ambiance is both luxurious and inviting, offering the perfect blend of history and modern convenience. Waking up to the stunning surroundings felt like stepping into a fairytale, and every moment spent here was an absolute delight. James’ home is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience, a retreat, and a privilege. We are already looking forward to returning and cannot recommend it highly enough! Beds are super comfortable.

This place is a dream - we booked it for three nights and had a wonderful stay. In addition to the gorgeous, spotless, space with all its amenities, Jan and Dale were very accommodating and had great recommendations for things to do in the area. All the essential amenities were in working order, and there were some extra touches that we really appreciated, like the stocked fridge, breakfast items, and laundry. We kept telling each other throughout the whole stay, "I can't believe we found this place" because it was so much better than if we'd gone with our original plan of staying at a hotel! The house is in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood without being isolated from restaurants, shops, parks, and the beach, all of which are within walking distance. If we're ever in the area again, we're definitely rebooking with Jan and Dale!

Our stay was fantastic. This place feels like a home with all the things one needs to be comfortable. The yard and hot tub were great. The bonus was the in-tune piano! Our whole party voiced wishes to stay here again.

Norvell is a responsive host and the house met our needs accommodating 7 family members with ease. The house was well stocked for meals at home during your stay. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were stocked with ample shampoo and soap. We enjoyed the privacy of the backyard/ patio and hot tub at the end our day. It was a great home base for our LA trip.

Hallgrim was a very gracious host. We were moving from another Airbnb & needed a place to stow our refrigerated food for 3 hours. He easily accommodated that & ultimately said we could just check in early. One caveat - be sure you understand the street parking protocol. It works but it can be tight, especially late at night. We always found a spot but you will need good parallel parking skills. The house is personal & eclectic & you will feel like you are staying at a good friend’s house. This is not the usual “just the basics” corporate Airbnb. It is a home. My daughter & I felt very comfortable staying here & would definitely book it again. The Canyon has a unique history. In addition to looking thru the beautiful coffee table book Hallgrim has left out for his guests to enjoy, you must watch Echo in the Canyon for an extended stroll through the musical history of this unique canyon. You’ll be singing Mamas and Papas songs on your way down to Lilly’s Cafe in no time!

The loft was really well provisioned with kitchen amenities. We loved the patio looking into the trees. Very quiet. Location was perfect for us. Restaurant list was very helpful. Quiet oasis in a lovely neighborhood. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Hosts were responsive and promptly responded to the few questions we had. Again, we look forward to returning. We used Waymo to get around rather than rent a car in an unfamiliar city.

Tony is a responsive host. This place works very well if you need to be close to Chapman U., as it's within walking distance. The two-bedroom setup provides enough room for an extra family member. Furnishings and supplies were fine and thoughtfully placed. The backyard table is a great place to enjoy a meal. There are dogs in their backyard that bark when you walk by, but they are safely fenced in. If you want an unscented setup with bedding and so forth it would be best to request that in advance. We enjoyed our stay!

This place was great! Private garage, large living room, comfy beds and outdoor balcony/patio - what more could you ask for! Overall our stay was great. David was very responsive and friendly. I ran into a WiFi issue since I work from home and David was quick to help! Location is walkable to local coffee shops and restaurants. Can’t beat the location for sure! Will definitely recommend!

Just like the pictures, clean and comfortable. In a great location where you can walk to the beach, restaurants, even the grocery store. The hosts were extremely communicative and flexible. Highly recommend!

Julia was an above and beyond host, making us feel welcome at all times. The place was wonderful: well-prepared kitchen, great natural lighting, comfortable beds, ample and comfortable. ACs on every room were a big plus during the SoCal heat! Plus a cute small patio in the back. We felt right at home and would love to be back. Location is also unparalleled--Altadena is truly beautiful

This is our second stay with Bill and we hope to stay again in the future. It's a great little spot with so much stuff to do within walking distance. Very clean, well stocked and a great space for us, 4 people one dog. Our dog loves the place as much as we do. Nice doggy door and patio area. Close to a dog beach and a beautiful neighborhood to walk around in. Highly recommended this place and Bill is a wonderful host.

My husband likes to say..."wow, that's why Michael is a 'super host'"! This home is what every air bnb consumer hopes for. It actually exceeds your expectation. He has thought of everything and more. Every detail is covered, everything you need is there. The home is immaculate and so are all the appointments, home appliances and gardens. There is a wonderful patio and barbeque too. I remember saying 'pride in ownership'. We had a different circumstance coming here in that we were displaced by the California Wild Fires. We found the comfort of our home here and the comfort of our hosts, who care. We had hardly anything when we got there and Michael and his wonder partner provided for, and had already thought of everything. We were fortunate this home was available when we needed it. As far as travel, if you are a tourist, I personally needed to get around, to our former home, and to work. The freeway is close by as are many wonderful restaurants. Enjoy!

Stayed with 3 people and a small dog for 6 nights. Clara and David’s place was perfect. Stocked with everything we needed for our stay. David was very friendly, accommodating, and happy to help whenever we needed anything. The location is ideal and the place is like a little oasis tucked away in the city. Smooth check in and check out. Definitely would stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Traveling alone, I felt safe and secure in an unfamiliar area. Bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything I needed. Maggie and Maria were quick to respond to any questions I had and eager to make sure I had all I needed. I look forward to staying there again. The wild parrots visiting in the early morning was amazing!

This house was great for our family. We felt comfortable letting the baby crawl around here, and the kitchen and eating area were a good size for 3 generations of people. There was a nice supply of children's toys and books too. Suzy is a good communicator and did everything she could to accommodate our needs. I will note that we underestimated our ability to walk 1.7 miles to and from the Disney property on top of walking the park. We ended up driving to Disney even though it was close. Uber is also a good option. Also, we paid to have the pool heated, but the outside temp was in the low 70's while we were there and it was still chilly. So it made for some expensive swimming. My recommendation is to really consider how much time you will be at the house, and be realistic about your tolerance for the temperatures.

Johnny was a great host. The house is located in a nice neighborhood and is walking distance to a decent diner (Nat's). home was clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils, huge fridge, and stove if you plan on cooking. Yard was a nice play to relax and the swimming pool was very clean. Samsung TVs were in almost every room in the home. The home is a nice location for large families or groups, although my stay was short it I enjoyed my stay with my friends. Would recommend.

We want to say a huge thank you to these unbelievable hosts. Their house is incredible, they were very fast to respond to all inquiries, we desperately needed a crib and they came over to put one together for us. These are really amazing hosts with beautiful home. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for an Airbnb in LA! Thank you again!
