For winter the cottage is equipped with electric blankets, a gas heater as well as an indoor fireplace with a good supply of wood and more available to buy should you run out. Syphonia Safaris is located on the outskirts of Baviaanskloof and is ideal for visitors who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and experience country life. The house comprises of 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is also a flatlet with outside bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. The living area has a fireplace. There is a fire pit outside where guests can sit back, relax, roast marshmallows, and gaze at the stars.

Cedar Farmhouse

There are 4 bedrooms, and two bathrooms, both with baths and one with a shower, in addition to the private outside shower. A spacious lounge with a comforting fire place and a beautiful wraparound veranda make you feel comfortable and at home. The farm is not on the main electricity grid nor is there any cell phone reception. Paraffin lamps are supplied in all rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and gas appliances are provided.
