Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. Convenient to Ballybeg House, Lisnavagh House and Mount Wolseley. One large double bedroom upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs, which sleeps 1 adult or 2 children. Large bathroom. Sitting room with wood burning stove and spacious kitchen with back door to garden. Own transport essential.

The Cabin

Our beautiful cabin is set in the heart of the Wicklow mountains 10km from the Sally Gap. The area is a haven for nature enthusiasts, cycling, walking and other outdoor activities. Kippure estate (adventure center) is 2 miles away. It is an open space with king size bed, we are happy to provide floor mattress or camp bed for additional guests or children. The kitchen has kettle, toaster, fridge, twin hop and microwave for your use. Bathroom includes walk in electric shower.

Pandora Cabin- A tranquil stay for all who visit.

The Pandora Cabin Kilcommon is rurally set on the southern foothills of the Silvermines mountains, midway between Limerick for visits to St. Johns castle , Glenstal Abbey and Thomond Park. Nenagh for boating, fishing or sailing on Lough Derg. Thurles for visits to Holycross Abbey and Semple stadium and Cashel for visits to The rock of Cashel. Special local attractions include Upperchurch loop walks, The Kilcommon Pilgram Loop walk, and the Kilcommon prayer garden.

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. Croc an Oir is a romantic retreat for a couple, and traditional features include a cosy woodburner, a half door, arched windows and a delightful loft style bedroom. There is also a private courtyard and garden.
