Shoal Bay sits on a remote island, completely off grid. Here we generate our own electrical power through a system of solars panels and micro-hydro. Just one of three boutique styled cottages at Shoal Bay, The RAVEN COTTAGE sits on the hillside overlooking the water. There are 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and a cozy woodstove. The Quadra ferry is a short walk away and is a great chance to explore a beautiful part of the Discovery Islands. Our suite offers a peek a boo view of the ocean and mountain landscapes that make for a stunning sunset backdrop. Along with your own private outdoor seating area to relax after a day of sightseeing.

This beautiful cottage is situated less than 5 minutes from town with a north facing unobstructed ocean view. Walking distance to the ocean. Permanent residents will welcome you on the property at time of check. Wifi available, in-suite washer and dryer, private parking and RV hookup. This cottage can stay up to 5 guests. The cottage is entirely on its own and not attached to any other dwellings, as seen in the pictures. The rental is of the entire dwelling.

For all the skier or the guest that want to ski or hike Mt Washington it is only a short 40 min.drive away. Our suite is in our primary residence.

Self-contained Studio Cottage located in central Port Hardy near a trail system with a 15-minute walk to the beach, parks, restaurants and shopping. 10 minute drive to the BC Ferries (Bear Cove) Terminal. Outdoor Pickleball/Tennis courts are just a 5-minute walk through the trails nearby. 1.5 blocks from the Port Hardy Hospital & Port Hardy Primary Care Centre. Separate driveway with parking for two vehicles. Private and quiet area.
