Dollar General located 3 miles away & a country store with fuel 1.5 miles away. This fully furnished 2/1 currently has 1 full size & 1 queen size bed and 5’ shower(not a full tub). Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Enjoy your favorite beverage on the back deck overlooking a large open yard, nectar feeding humming birds, and beautiful forestry. For an extra fee, store your boat, or ATV inside the 20x30 metal building located on the property.

Blacksmith Cottage

Enjoy quiet country setting with picturesque views of fields and pastures with cattle grazing nearby. The Blacksmith Cottage commemorates the patriarch of our family on this property. This cottage has all of the modern conveniences for a comfortable stay in a country setting. There is a country store one mile away with fuel and convenience items and a Dollar General four miles away. Shiloh Baptist Church is two and a half miles away and always welcomes visitors.

Firefly Lane Cabin 3

Nestled among a secluded 9-acre lot, Firefly Lane is the perfect blend of modern amenities and rustic southern charm. The rolling landscape and pond, allow you to find more than a place to lay your head, it’s food for your soul. If swinging screen doors, wine on the porch, and fireflies dancing in the trees speak to your heart, then Firefly Lane is the place for you. We have 3 cabins on this property.

River’s Edge- Outdoorsman Cabin on the River

Unplug and relax at River’s Edge—your cozy getaway on the Amite River. Sleeps 4 with a queen bed and pullout sofa, plus a full kitchen and bar seating. Chill on the big deck and enjoy the view. Perfect for a weekend escape or just some quiet time by the water. Please note: River’s Edge is located next door to The Gathering Point, an event space that occasionally hosts small gatherings.
