The Cottage at Dunthorpe Farm

The Cottage is a restored wagon barn nestled against the Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll enjoy quality, comfort, quietude, and pastoral views. We are a fully licensed and inspected B&B on a 1790's farm in rural Loudoun County VA. Each morning you are treated to a continental breakfast of fresh pastry, fruit sourced from local farms, and homemade jams which we quietly deliver by 7:30 unless otherwise requested. Note that the base price is for 1-2 people. Guests 3 and 4 have additional fees.

Apartment on Peace Ridge Farm

Enjoy a relaxing stay on our family friendly farm, dogs welcome too! Breakfast supplies are fully provided for you to prepare any meal. Complementary Wine is also provided. You will get to interact with many farm animals. We have a large playground, gas grille, and hammock on the property. Our place is close to Historic Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, Antietam, Wineries, Shenandoah and Potomac rivers, art and culture, restaurants and family-friendly activities are all within a short drive.

Light Horse Inn: Suite 1

This large suite has a king size bed, ten foot ceilings, jacuzzi tub and separate shower. This spacious suite will allow you lots of room to spread out and relax. When the building served as a tavern and inn from the 1790s this room was used as the public section for sleeping quarters, with eight or more people sleeping in the room. It was also rumored to have been used for dancing. The original heart pine floors have been preserved and numerous architectural details are showcased as well.

Salubrious House is an Antebellum Greek Revival Mansion Estate. This equestrian estates commands a picturesque view of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains. Experience a touch of history in one of our 3 period suites all located on the groundfloor with private entrance. If travelling with your horses, we have stalls avalible. Hunting, shooting, kyaking, fishing or trail rides are also on offer. A stay with us affords you tranquility, convienience, and a time to unwind.

A first floor suite that is very welcoming overlooking the front garden with mountain sunset views. Offers a queen sleigh platform bed with luxury mattress and linens, electric fireplace, private en-suite bath, and recliner. The bath includes custom tiled deep tub/shower combo in the water closet, and separate extended vanity area.
