A bright, cosy Highland hideaway in village location with parking; ideal base for touring locally and as far as Skye & Loch Ness; hiking, wildlife, outdoor activities, winter sports & distillery visits. Studio is self contained wing of owners' home in wooded garden next to farmland. Conservatory-style living & eating area, king bedroom, en-suite bathroom (bath w/ hand-held hair shower). Galley with fridge/freezer, baby cooker & microwave suitable only for ready meals and simple food preparation.

The south facing cabin is set in the Spey Valley, Scottish Highlands near Aviemore with a pine forest stretching into Glenfeshie, Cairngorms mountains and the RSPB Insh Marshes. Squirrels, badgers, deer and pinemarten can be watched from the comfort of the patio window! While enjoying the peace of this small village there are food shops & station 5 miles away and food, fuel, gift, sports shops 10 miles away. The west coast, Inverness, Braemar, Edinburgh are all possible as day excursions.

Cosy 1-bedroom cottage with wood-burner

Rowan Cottage is to be found snuggled away in the forest, yet just 5 miles from Aviemore, in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. This cozy cottage for two is peaceful and calming; a perfect place to unwind and relax at this unique and tranquil getaway. Each day brings another memorable view or sighting of the abundant wildlife in and around the cottage grounds. Yet, if you want an activity based week there is a vast amount of organised activities and attractions just on your doorstep.

A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

The Bakehouse at Caman House dates from 1900 and is a beautiful old stone barn, and once upon a time a bakers - lovingly restored by us, creating a cosy and unique little home from home, respecting the story of the building, using local materials like timber & stone. Free Church Manse is a beautiful Victorian villa with wonderful mountain views. Located just minutes from the centre of the Highland village of Kingussie our family friendly house is within easy walking distance of local shops, the supermarket, pubs and cafes. With access to the mountains on the doorstep it's a wonderful base for holidays and a ideal location to explore the wider Cairngorm National Park. We are pet friendly and welcome up to two well behaved pets.

Riverside Hideaway

Riverside Hideaway is a quirky above our garage conversion. It is Modern with a light, fresh feel. Located up a short track on the bank of the River Spey. Watching the Ospreys, hundreds of miles of forest tracks and cycle ways to explore, snow sports in the Cairngorms, paddling to Loch Insh or down the Spey the options are endless. It’s quiet, peaceful and relaxing but with excitement and exhilaration of outdoor pursuits all around.

2 Hedgefield Cottages

This renovated cottage is an executive quality, two bedroom cottage in an upmarket district of Inverness which is only a 10 minutes walk to the city centre, five minutes from Inverness Castle. The cottage was built in 1880 and Inverness has since grown up around the cottage which once stood on open farmland. Many of the top Inverness restaurants and bars are located near by. All visitors to the Highlands are welcome.
