This well-furnished cabin is surrounded by 18 acres of privately owned fields and woods. A wrap-around deck with a hot tub (extra) provides striking views. Hiking trails, fire pit, gas grill, golf cart, pond, laundry, Direct TV (3), internet, stereo, equipped kitchen and games all make for a fun country stay. Rising Star and Belterra Casinos are closeby, and a park/boat ramp on the Ohio is nearby. Rising Sun and Vevay are short drives, and the Arc and Creation Museum are both within 1 hour.

But if you’re seeking quiet, character, and a taste of how things used to be, with a modern twist, welcome to our 1800s-era cabin. Renovated in 2022, the cabin is comfy but you can expect creaky floors, original woodwork, and a few quirks that come with age. The cabin is authentic, and thoughtfully kept. You will have TV, wifi, central heat, air conditioning but expect to hear the water pump run and there is no dishwasher.

Please note, due to the stairs and rustic decor, this cabin may not be suitable for small children.

Watch deer and turkey roam the property. Hike the trails which include a frisbee golf course designed to take in the scenery.

The Guest House at Monte Cassino Vineyard, an architectural gem. At 650 sq ft, this free standing, studio loft space is a ground up restoration of an 1830s summer kitchen. Completed for 2016 season, it includes a kitchenette, with mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Outdoor grill is available as well. The living room has a fireplace and the bedroom loft is a designer's dream. Adjacent to the main house, the GH also includes use of the pool in season. Extremely private grounds.

It's a great in between location for The Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, Belterra and Rising Star Casino. Inside you'll notice the wood burning stove and the open floor plan. Whether you're wanting to get away from the city, enjoy the outdoors or a place to stay after visiting Belterra Casino, Ark Encounter or The Creation museum this is the place. Once you walk inside you'll notice the open floor plan. Watch the deer, turkey and rabbits browsing in the field just before dusk. Take a stroll thru the many trails on the 30-acres. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and 1 futon in loft and 2 futons in living room.
