LAKE MICHIGAN EARL YOUNG STONE COTTAGE

This lovely cottage is the creation of Charlevoix's legendary builder in stone, Earl Young. The year was 1929, and the Hollywood director, Norman Panama, commissioned Earl Young to build his summer get-away. Stars of the day, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope partied on the expansive estate-like grounds, with stunning views of Lake Michigan. Newly remodeled one bedroom cabin located in Carp Lake. The cabin is in a residential neighborhood directly off US 31. The cabin is located 6 miles south of Mackinaw City. This property has a shared access to Paradise Lake which is located at the intersection of Wheeling Road and Paradise Trail ( about a 2 minute walk). The cabin is also located directly across from the North Western State Trail, which is a hiking and biking trail in the summer and snowmobile trail in the winter.
