This upscale lodging is situated in the West Hill's prominent Willamette Heights neighborhood where historic classics meet the urban edge. The best part? The place is all your own! No worries about whether the TV will wake your host; no sounds of snoring will come through the walls; no need to tippy toe around to keep from bothering light sleepers and there will be no wake-up blast of somebody else's alarm clock! Just sweet, sweet privacy. Lighted parking a few steps from the door makes for safe and easy access, and a four number key code allows for arrival at any hour without concern of disturbing your hosts. Enjoy as much tea and coffee as you need to stay comfortably caffeinated. If you're lacking something important like a specialty kitchen gadget, personal item or office supply, let me know I'm happy to help! The garage of the Guesthouse cottage serves as my artist (painting) studio, so I am generally working on the premises if you need me. The Guesthouse Getaway is in a fun area with over fifty exceptional restaurants within a mile of the home. Go for a hike in the surrounding nature, check out some of the breathtaking galleries, and catch a live sporting event or show in the evening. Getting around is easy whether you prefer public transportation (bus stop is 4 blocks away), Uber, Lyft, taxi cabs, rental car, bicycle or foot. Enjoy the use of wifi or hard wire connections for internet access and basic cable TV with STARZ movies channels. Okay, well, it's a stream, but it's all yours to enjoy. For the nature lovers we have deer, beavers, ducks, nutria, fish, etc. (think wetlands). For everyone, the house (duplex) is fully equipped with a fireplace, BBQ, hot tub central gas heat and central AC. This is a bright, clean and cozy space to land for folks who love the suburbs (not in the city city but we are close drive to the city center) but want to be surrounded by nature. With ambient noise from the creek and highway.

La Terre ~ Modern Mini Studio

"La Terre" is a great place to stay! The street is busy but safe. We are close to Intel, and TV Highway in the Beaverton/Aloha area, where restaurants and supermarkets can be found. Our place is designed to be welcoming and cozy. It has a smart TV and WiFi, a private entrance along with its own kitchenette induction kitchen, full bathroom, a full-size bed, two twin-sized sofa beds, and a desk area. The studio is exclusively for guests. We have parking space and friendly neighbors.

In the woods, next to a creek, but still in Portland! Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space.
