I feel like lots of descriptions try to "oversell" you so I'll share a few things i genuinely love about my mini a-frame. - It's in the most peaceful setting - it's like camping but wayyy cozier - with a super comfy bed :) - You'll feel secluded but just steps in the forest from your parking spot + only 15 min. to Hendersonville and 17 to Brevard - You can open the side to create a covered patio - My own brand of local coffee is always included

Ranger Retreat-Chimney Rock Cabin with Waterfalls!

This unique place has a style all its own designed to emulate a ranger retreat /fire tower. The cabin has a commanding view of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls/Gorge. The cabin was built out of 100+ year old reclaimed materials with 15 foot vaulted ceilings on the main floor. With poplar bark walls, incredible lighting hand cut slate floors your stay is guaranteed to be enchanting. Sit in the hot tub and look at a waterfall while listening to another waterfall behind you and river below you.

Need a break from the hustle and bustle? Come stay at the "Pretty Nice Place" for a true disconnect. Immerse yourself in nature and spend your days exploring the nearby waterfalls and trails in DuPont State Forest or Caesars Head State Park. Our property is located next to DuPont State Forest which is so close you can hear the waterfalls from the front door. World class mountain biking/hiking are just half a mile away. Lake Imaging parking lot is 0.5 miles, Hooker Falls is 0.9. It is conveniently located only 20 minutes from both Brevard and Hendersonville where wonderful restaurants and activities can be explored.
