Downtown Nashville is about a 15 minute walk and Hard Truth Hills, The north entrance to the Brown County State Park and the Brown County Music Center are all just a short drive away.

The Lodge at Treetop Retreat is a former recording studio with an AMAZING view! Set atop one of the highest hills in Brown County, this huge space boasts 20 ft ceilings in the open concept great room. With an indoor, jetted, spa tub, gas fireplace (seasonal), pool table, and lots of open indoor space, this is a cool place to unwind. King bed downstairs, and two queen beds in the loft. Enjoy a stay of charm and heritage at a 1906 Brown County home known as Helmsburg Station. It was originally owned by the Helm's of Helmsburg, IN and has been completely renovated from the exterior walls inward during 2019. Helmsburg Station pays tribute to the history of its quaint location as the original direct route from Indianapolis to Brown County via the railroad line. From Helmsburg, the rest of the route to Nashville was by horse and wagon or by foot.
