This is an eclectic space that was a former art studio. The artist who lives just next door, keeps a private working studio in the loft. Although it is inaccessible to our guests, you will see her art on the walls and her creative side in the large lady shown in the pictures. Firepit and wood available. 5 hiking trails on 300 acres! The Farmhouse at 169 South 5th, is located in historic McConnelsville, Ohio. Located just two blocks from downtown, & just across from the Cornerstone South church, & overlooking the Muskingum River. This Farmhouse was completely restored to its current charm in the spring of 2017. You will find it fully furnished, & ready for a pleasant "home away from home"! McConnelsville is known for its rich history, & is home to the famous Twin City Opera House, among many other interesting landmarks.

Route 60 Getaway

Route 60 Getaway is at 5226 N St Rt 60 NW, McConnelsville. Located along State Route 60, 2 miles north of McConnelsville. It is located above our families landscaping business. It is not in a secluded area (due to businesses nearby) however, you will not be disturbed!! You will find it fully furnished, & ready for a pleasant "home away from home"! There is currently a guest in the apartment below the house. However you will not be disturbed and their are no shared spaces outside!

Country Getaway

Short drive on the highway from Athens, OH (15 minutes) and Parkersburg, WV(35 minutes). Detached studio apartment located on 25 acres with access to almost 300 acres for walking and fishing(catch and release). Studio apartment has a full kitchen and bathroom, two bed nooks, a chair, and table with four barstools. The space is heated using radiant floor during cool weather and during warm weather cooled by a window unit AC. Owners live about 30ft from rental on the property.

Burr Oak Cabin

Burr Oak Cabin is nestled into the woods of Burr Oak State Park. Just a short walk or drive to Burr Oak Lake where you can enjoy fishing (license required), hiking, or boating. Hiking trails include various state park trails, the American Discovery Trail or the Buckeye Trail. Put in your own boat at the Dock 1 boat ramp (9.9 hp limit) or rent a kayak, canoe, fishing boat or pontoon boat. Rentals available April through October. We have wifi with a Roku smart Tv to stream.

We are situated near I-70 and, Dillon State Park, Blackhand Gorge and The Wilds. Bald Eagle, Deer, Turkey, Rabbit, Squirrels are in the area.There's golf, wineries and breweries nearby. You'll love the coziness and privacy of the place. This place is good for couples, families, solo adventurers and business travelers.
